Your forecast needs four fields from the last call, not a tier up on every seat.
Sounding is a nightly data feed into Salesforce. Its models read the transcripts Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams already keep and propose the next step, its date and any competitor named; your contact roles settle whether a decision-maker spoke. By 6:00 Eastern, each open opportunity that had a call carries all four.
Start in a sandboxThe obvious route is Fireflies' API. It starts at Business: $9 more per seat, per month, billed annually.
Sounding never touches it. Each value links to the line it was read from.
$540 a month opens the API for sixty seats. $290 writes the fields.
Fireflies Pro is $10 a seat and Business is $19, billed annually, and API access starts at Business. A note logged on an opportunity is prose for someone to read; Monday's forecast reads fields. Where the job is bigger than four fields, Business wins.
| Route | Sounding | Fireflies Business, every seat | Fireflies Pro, pasted by hand |
|---|---|---|---|
| 60 reps, a month, billed annually | $290 flat | $540 | $0 and an analyst's Friday |
| 60 reps, a year | $3,480 | $6,480 | $0 |
| 40 or 100 reps, a month, billed annually | $290 | $360 or $900 | $0 |
| The four fields, nobody pasting | Nightly by 6:00 Eastern | Once you build on the API | By hand, Fridays |
| API access, analytics, video recording | None | All three | Not on Pro |
$290 a month per Salesforce org, up to 100 reps
Flat, because the fields sit on opportunities, not on people. The price of that choice: at 32 reps or fewer, the Business upgrade comes in under us, $288 against $290.
$290per Salesforce org / month
Past 100 reps, each further 100 adds $290.
- Four fields rewritten nightly, whether you have 40 reps or 100
- The 90-day backfill, and again after a competitor-list change
- Evidence records, the Held list and a nightly run log
- Sandbox never billed; production free for 30 days, no card
- Early-access orgs keep $290 for 24 months
- Cancel any month; written fields stay in Salesforce
One row per open opportunity that had a call yesterday
The morning after a run, as Salesforce holds it by 6:00 Eastern: next step, date agreed, competitor, decision-maker. Each value opens its Call Evidence record.
- A value the models weren't sure of reads Held for the rep. No guess.
- A call with no promise in it says so: No dated next step.
Sounding
Thursday night's run, Sep 24.
Every value links to the sentence it came from.
| Opportunity | Next step | Date agreed | Competitor | Decision-maker |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Renewal, 3-year term | Rep sends the revised order form | Sep 29 | None named | Yes |
| Expansion, second team | Buyer books the security review | Oct 2 | Close | No |
| New business, pilot to paid | No dated next step | Call of Sep 24 | None named | Unknown |
| Upsell, 40 more seats | Held for the rep | Held for the rep | None named | Yes |
| New business, platform swap | Both sides meet the buyer's finance lead | Oct 6 | None named | Yes |
A drawn example, not a customer's org.
Held means the reading scored under 0.85 and waits on the rep's list, not in the field.
"Close" is a CRM on your competitor list, or what the rep is asking for. An encoder reads three turns either side to tell which.
An 8B open-weight model reads the last third of the call to tell a dated promise from a polite goodbye.
- Quoted sentencespeaker, timestamp, link to the recording
- Proposed valuewith its confidence score
- Accept, correct, nothing agreedthe three answers a rep gives

A value scored under 0.85 waits on the opportunity owner's Held list, not in the field.
Each rep's accept, correction or edit is saved with its source turns, seven at most. It moves your thresholds; shared models see it only on opt-in.
A field written by the service is a reading of a call, not the call.

Nothing new for reps to log into. It's your Salesforce, plus three fields and one object.
An opportunity with its four fields, the evidence behind one of them, and the run log for the night.

The run log explains every call that wrote nothing.
At 32 reps or fewer, buy the Business upgrade. It's cheaper than we are.
Sounding is for 40 to 100 reps on Fireflies Pro whose Monday forecast reads Salesforce opportunity fields.
And if nobody forecasts from opportunity fields, four new ones have no reader.
- Your forecast reads Next Step off the opportunity, in Salesforce or in your Azure Synapse Analytics copy of it
- Already on Business or above: point its API at Salesforce yourself
- HubSpot, or any CRM that isn't Salesforce
- Selling by dialer, in person, or not in English

We will overwrite a next step your rep agreed by email.
If the next call names none, the field reads No dated next step, and the rep will argue with it in the forecast call. That is the design.
The CRO asked whether the last call set a date. Keeping the old value hides the answer.
Next Step stops being the rep's alone. An edit typed after a call stands until the next one.
- Field history
- every value we replaced, still in Salesforce
- Evidence record
- the sentence behind the new value

We do not read mailboxes, calendars, chat or the customer's notetaker.
The first week needs four roles. The slow one is whoever runs your meeting platform.
- Salesforce admininstalls the package, keeps field history on
- Zoom, Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 admingrants read access to transcripts
- RevOps10 to 30 competitors with aliases, plus deciding roles
- Repsclear the Held list before Monday
Start in a sandbox. Nothing is billed there, ever.
The reply carries the Salesforce package link and an order form with the 30 free days on it.
Your rep count goes in the reply: up to 100 is $290 a month · The 90-day backfill runs before any invoice · Revoke the connected app and every write stops at once
